The Digital Media Technology program is a two year course that provides instruction in the basics of digital photography, photo editing, print production, digital music production, Flash animation, and digital video editing and production. The program consists of two courses for students in grades 10-12, with each course offering two Carnegie units of vocational credit towards gradation. Students may choose to use one of the Carnegie units as an art elective. The program prepares students for entry-level employment in areas such as advertising, packaging , animation, special effects, the newspaper and magazine industry, video and audio editing and production, and continuing post secondary educational programs.
